Our book, Pick Me Up, was authored by 42 people from all walks of life, in an impossible deadline of 24 hours. It is a challenge to show how great things can be accomplished if we set our hearts to it.

Pick Me Up is a collection of true stories about how people overcame their circumstances to live their mark and turn their dreams into reality.

We want to inspire people to realize their dreams too!

More about the 1st edition challenge

It started at 11th Janurary 2008 when a group of 12 graduates from the program, The Courage to Create, were given a impossible deadline of 24 hours to write a book!

Our target was to sell 10,000 books by 2nd February 2008 and donate 60% of the nett proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation® in making the children’s dreams come true. The rest of the 40% will be used to set up a Social Enterprise

To date, we have already reached around 3,500 book sales.

The book have since been distributed in Kinokuniya, Borders, National Libraries, as well as Changi Women’s Prison as promoted by MP Ellen Lee

We’ve been featured on Channel Newsasia, My Paper and interviewed on local radio stations. We’ve got the support of Make-A-Wish® Foundation, Member of Parliament for Aljunied GRC, Mdm Cynthia Phua. Can we have your support too?
